creatures
I've always been facinated with critters, I was always making up pokemon and stuff as a kid. I also draw them to unwind, blow off steam, or whatever. Sometimes they're a metaphor, self-expression, lack of objective, or just something that's been stuck in my head for a while. My sketchbooks are riddled with creatures. xD

pink
when I was really little, I refused to wear anything that wasn't pink. That phase has passed obviously, lol. I think part of the little girl in me still loves it a lot, I can't really explain why I use it other than that. It's just a personal color to me, I suppose.

strep throat
I have/had a lot of problems with my throat and lungs, I had pneumonia when I was really little, and I get strep throat a lot. I got it two years in a row around the same time of year, lol. I've also got a facination with the throat/neck and stuff. It sounds kind of crazy, but strep throat is just kind of special to me lol, we're bffs. orz

peace
I love peace, I wish I could help people see that it's obviously awesome. Those peace flags I got from Old Settler's are hanging in the living room, I like watching them and thinking about how FREAKING RAD IT IS that you can say/express it in every language.

sphinx
I'm not quite sure why, but the sphinx has always been a somewhat striking image to me. I love the idea of people with animal faces or animals with people faces. I think it's an awesome metaphor for inner desire and the quest for knowledge.

This summer has been freaking rad so far.
Albeit a little dull, I haven't really done much, but it just feels so good knowing I don't have to wake up in the morning.

I woke up at 12 today, I feel so accomplished

maybe when I get some cash I can get motivated to start on my cosplays too.

So my figure drawing class ended Friday, I'll try and motivate myself to take them out and get some pictures to show.

This weekend was FANTASTIC
the world powers all got together and had a meeting and we started to play Risk but we didn't finish so we're gonna leave it all there and come back to it lol.
And then had a rousing game of one word story which went on for like, two hours or more lol it was amazing we have so many inside jokes now.

and I saw Star Trek yesterday too, it was pretty much a good movie. I'm not a huge Trekkie or anything so I wasn't a total dork about it but it was a good movie.

i squee'd and rolled down the stairs when my mom called up that I had a letter *U*

I had a strange, slightly Hetalia related dream.

I woke up fine but then I started feeling real sick about half an hour before school started, so I went to first block and the teacher was like "we're gonna have that dumb physical fitness test thing and I don't want you throwing up everywhere so go to the nurse"
I had a low grade fever 99.8 but it was enough for her to send me home but it's all normal now so I just got to sit around bored.

not as fun as actually being sick etc. When you're really sick you get to have an excuse to stay home, but I'm fine now so ugh just bored I can't go back to school.

man, I wish she didn't live so far up north. TI's only a 45 min + drive but still it's a long ways up there and there's not many other people up there/things for my mom to do to motivate taking me up there to visit. xD

I have my entrance exam into the community college which is right across the street from my school (how cool is that) on tuesday. Trying to get in for Summer classes, just going to be able to take 2 at a time so I'll take Speech and another language like German or Russian or something to keep me busy over the summer.

today sucked a lot.
Just gives me another reason why I absolutely HATE my geometry class.
I don't really wanna go all out on it, I hope it'll just go away or I'll get over it or something.

WOO, CAMPING.

it was a lot of fun. It was raining pretty much all day Friday, but luckily I was at school for most of the day but still it was stressful to try and set up my itty-bitty tent before it got dark or started raining again. Everything was so muddy *w*
It thunderstormed late friday night, but no rain at all Saturday, which was really nice. There was even a nearly clear blue sky again! Everyone was happy, it was fun.

The fest had some really awesome music on the main stage all the time, I didn't get to check out the bluebonnet stage but once late saturday. Some REALLY tallented people up there, i tells yew whut. Fred Eaglesmith was HILARIOUS as always, and Dave Alvin and the Guilty Women ROCKED THE HOUSE ... or the outside... aand so did The Lee Boys, they're a "Sacred Iron" band, like metal meets gospel. Man that stuff was soulfull. Then they got together with another bluegrass band and did a set together which was also really really cool.
And there was even a live broadcast to some of the troops in Iraq with Robert Earl Keen, that was really cool, I thought.

I bought a lot of stuff, too. I got these cool Peace flags, there's nine of them and they say Peace in different ways. I also got a lot of jewelry, some jingly owl earings that are just ADORABLE and some daisy earings and a necklace with an octopus and a necklace with a flamingo. *u* I think I'll take pictures soon cuz they're just asdfjklsocute.

yeah, a lot of fun. *w*

going to the Old Settler's Music Festival and camping out for the weekend. I'm gonna do some hardcore watercoloring etc while I'm there so yey maybe I'll lern me a thing or 2

so there's some bs thing just now about how aparently my compy doesn't pass the "genuine Windows validation" thing. kinda scared it might be a virus, kinda pissed at my bro for not being around to help me fix it. Whatevs.

today was pretty fun, after school me and a lot of pals went down to the park to have an egg hunt and screw around. We were gonna play baseball, but theres these dumb lil kids who play soccer there and they chained big goals to the field, right in the middle of where the baseball diamonds are. So we didn't wanna play that.
And uh, we tried playing bloody murder, but Bobbert is just a wizard, he knew every inch of the wooded area so we could never find him and it took forever so we just gave up and assigned new bloody murderers but a lil while in we got called back to base cuz apparently there was gangstahs and it was getting dark.

but it was funnnn ;u;
and three day weekend, yey
gonna scan up some shizzle to show
but I'm really tired lol
